Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use The Launchpad app, run by LP FINCARE SERVICES LLP ("we", "us"). By ticking "I accept" and signing in, you agree to them. Please read them with the Privacy Policy.
1. What the app does
The Launchpad helps you plan for your goals — education, marriage, a home or gold — and invest towards them in mutual funds through monthly SIPs and one-time lumpsums.
We act as a mutual fund distributor. The funds in the app are regular plans. We do not give investment advice and we are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Goal baskets are grouped by risk level; you choose the risk level and the goal.
Orders are placed with the mutual fund houses through our transaction platform partner. Your units are held in your own name in folios with the fund houses.
2. Who can use it
You must be a resident Indian individual aged 18 or over, with a valid PAN, a bank account in your own name and a mobile number and email address you can receive codes on.
You must complete KYC before you invest. You confirm that the details you give us — including whose email and mobile number you have registered — are true and your own declaration.
3. Your account and security
You sign in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. Purchases, SIP registrations, redemptions and switches are each confirmed with an OTP; entering it authorises that specific transaction, as shown on the screen at the time.
Keep your phone and codes to yourself. We will never ask for an OTP, PIN or password by phone, email or chat. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Investments and risk
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully. The value of your investment can go down as well as up, and past performance does not indicate future returns.
Projections in the app, such as the monthly SIP a goal needs or what an amount might grow to, use an assumed rate of return. They are estimates to help you plan, not promises.
Units are allotted at the NAV applicable to your order under the fund house's rules and cut-off times. Money from a redemption is paid only to your registered bank account.
5. Payments, SIPs and mandates
Payments are made from your registered bank account through our payment partner. For SIPs you set up a mandate (UPI or net banking) that lets the monthly amount be debited on the date you chose.
By accepting these terms you authorise a small verification ("penny drop") of your bank account during KYC.
You can cancel a SIP from Manage SIPs. Money already invested stays invested until you redeem it.
6. Ask AI
Ask AI answers general questions about mutual funds and the app, and questions about your own goals and orders, using a third-party AI service (OpenAI, through Vercel's AI Gateway). Its answers are for information only and are not investment advice; it does not recommend schemes. Check important decisions yourself.
7. Charges
We don't charge you a fee to use the app. As a distributor we receive commission from the fund houses on regular plans, which is included in each fund's expense ratio. Exit loads and taxes apply as set out in each scheme's documents.
8. Our responsibilities and limits
We work to keep the app accurate and available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or delayed, including when a fund house, registrar, bank or partner is. We are not responsible for losses from market movements or from delays outside our control.
We may suspend an account if we are required to by law or regulation, or if we see misuse or fraud.
9. Complaints
Raise any concern with us first; we aim to reply within a few working days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the fund house, or SEBI through SCORES (scores.sebi.gov.in) and the Online Dispute Resolution portal (smartodr.in).

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app and ask you to accept it again. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
